The Giants only legitimate threat on offense is Tiki Barber, he leads them in rushing and receiving. Rex Grossman is their starting QB, he has been surprisingly good. He is completing 68% of his passes and has 7 touchdowns to 1 interception. Their defense is lead by LB Dhani Jones and DT Lance Legree.

1st Quarter

Two plays into the game Manning is intercepted by Michael Barrow, he returns it to our 37. The pick sets up a 12-yard touchdown run by Duce Staley. Later in the quarter Samuel intercepts Grossman and returns it 19 yards for the touchdown! Then after our defense forces a punt, Anderson breaks off a 52-yard touchdown run! Andre Goodman intercepts Grossman leading to a 36-yard field goal by Hanson.

2nd Quarter

We add a 40-yard field goal on our first possession of the second quarter and force the Giants into another three and out. Bly returns the punt 74 yards for a touchdown! Then on their first play of the next drive Barber breaks free for a 90-yard touchdown run. We answer with a 21-yard field goal by Hanson.

3rd Quarter

The third quarter is quiet until late in the quarter we add a 37-yard field goal by Hanson.

Detroit 33, New York (N) 14

4th Quarter

On their first drive of the fourth quarter they get a 42-yard field goal from Todd Peterson. Then on their next drive they get a 27-yard field goal by Peterson. Our offense disappeared in the second half but luckily they haven't been able to finish their drives, we stop them at our 32 with under 0:30 to play and are able to run out the clock.

Detroit 33, New York (N) 20

We were able to put up 33 points but 14 came from defense and special teams as our offense struggled again. We managed just 287 yards of offense, with 206 coming on the ground. Anderson finished with 119 yards on 15 carries. Manning struggled, going 12 of 24 for 89 yards with an interception. Barber wins player of the game with 146 yards rushing and 63 yards receiving.

Cory Hall is questionable now, with a strained hamstring. Derrick Dockery is also questionable, with a sprained knee ligament.
