2004 Season, Week 11
Detroit (6-3) at Minnesota (5-4)
* Vikings favored by 1.

1st Quarter

Our offense is moving down the field but Jenkins fumbles at their 19 and they recover to end our scoring opportunity. The Vikings have a decent drive going before Chris Brown fumbles and Nate Wayne recovers at our 38. Later in the quarter with the Vikings driving again, Damien Robinson intercepts Culpepper at our 3 yard line. The quarter ends with us driving, we are currently at our own 42.

Detroit 0, Minnesota 0

2nd Quarter

Our drive stalls but Richardson pins them at their own 2. We force a punt, then Anderson goes for 31 yards on the ground and Manning hits Green for an 11-yard touchdown pass! We are able to put together another nice drive but have to settle for a 28-yard field goal by Hanson with 2:00 left in the half. John Hall misses a 54-yard field goal for the Vikings as time expires in the half.

Detroit 10, Minnesota 0

3rd Quarter

Midway through the quarter Culpepper finds Moss for a 33-yard touchdown pass to cut our lead to 3. On our ensuing drive Manning fumbles and they recover at midfield. As the quarter ends they have the ball at our 3.

Detroit 10, Minnesota 7

4th Quarter

Michael Bennett scampers in from 3-yards out to give them the lead on the first play of the quarter. Manning isn't able to get anything going in the fourth and he loses his first game as our starting quarterback.

Minnesota 14, Detroit 10

Manning's fumble was costly, other than that he did well. He was 26 of 37 for 210 yards with a touchdown. Anderson had 92 yards on 15 carries. Culpepper had the best game against our defense anyone has had in quite a while, he went 20 of 29 for 229 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
