It's a shame Ronnie Schulz and Jackie Blanchard lost so much of their senior seasons to injury. They both deserved a much better fate.
The defense will really miss Renaldo Samuels. "Sack Daddy" leaves South Bend with a three-year career total of 39 sacks, sixth-most among Division I-A players.
