That's probably true, given that wolves are usually more "into" the game than vanilla villagers, and roled villagers usually try to keep a low profile.
That said, I know some view more information as a good thing (including myself), so it's just what they do. For instance, I have already asked Abe 2 or 3 questions.
My point is, it's something to consider, but certainly not an end all, be all. My actual suspicion of J23 barely rates higher than a pebble of guilt on a flat landscape of innocence. But in a land without mountains, the pebble is the mountain.
