I'm sure SI pays boatloads better but once he started his blog to branch out, he started getting in some of that Bill Simmons pop culture crap and his writing seemed to get diluted. He's been spreading himself too thin ever since. He's still one hell of a writer, it's just that you have to read multiple articles to get the same punch one used to have sometimes.
