These World Cup goals just seem fluky. They dont seem to come from a well run offense other than Germany. Perhaps its because the talent is so great it makes the offenses unproductive.

A better comparison might be a team that moves the ball between the 20's and keeps settling for field goals and ultimately loses 10 to 9 (i.e. a very low scoring football game).
