$21 million on Friday, much better than the Sorcerer's Apprentice at least. I give it a 9/10. Definitely worth seeing in a theater, and I'll be interested to see how it holds up to a repeat viewing.
Spoiler
If anything, it didn't have a real emotional climax because it was just non-stop intensity for the last like hour and a half. Maybe it was because this was the first Nolan movie where I felt like I knew where the plot was going (Cobb being responsible for his wife's death, the top still spinning at the end) or just that Cobb's emotional journey was filled with too much expository dialogue between him and Ellen Page - almost like it got dumbed down after early test-screening. There were also a couple things that confused me - the freight train in dream level 1, was it part of Fischer's defenses, was it Mal messing with Cobb, was it Cobb's mind falling apart? The second was with the forger - he could clearly alter the dream-states - looking like Browning/changing what's in the vault based off what Fischer tells him/pulling out a rocket-launcher at the warehouse - so why wouldn't he pull out a rocket launcher or something similar again during the snow fortress scene instead of engaging in hand to hand combat? Maybe I'm overthinking this
