You need to move the receiver to the living room. Chances are that your receiver only has one set of HD connections.
What you'd want to do to get HD in the living room is go
Roof via coax to box in living room->component connection to living room TV.
And then from box in living room you run a coax that connects to the coax running to the bedroom.
