What possible motivation can you assign for me having this power, and then coming out with this information, at this point in the game if I'm a mobster? If I believed I understood the tie mechanic as a wolf then I would make sure to engineer it to my team's advantage at every turn. But I'm coming forward with it so we can try to make collective/informed decisions the rest of the way.

well the fact is, you did know you had the power...you knew you coordinated a tie last night without knowing what the result would be...that is no different than a duke pulling the trigger onto a random person without any reason to go there except to use his power.
