StLee - thanks, that is some very useful information. Korea shoots up to the top of my research list. I may pick your brain later on should that end up being our top option.
My wife is not the traveler I am and I know she'll have some concerns about the whole North/South Korea thing. Is that a big issue over there? Just some thoughts to ease her mind. I can't imagine North Korea ever doing more than chest thumping.
