New Orleans has fired Jerry Sloan and hired Sean Stallworth.

Derrick Rose and Carmelo won Players of the Month for December. Marshall Samuel (Washington) and Marcel Micoud (UTA) won Rookie of the Month.

Jan 2nd, 2014 -

We travel to play the Nets who are 16-16. We win 103-94. Speights with 17 points, 10 boards, and 1 block. Young with 17 points. Williams and Turner with 14. Turner also had 7 boards and 7 assists.

Fuller and Villanueva with 10 each. Jefferson with 8 points, 11 boards, and 1 block. He is now 100%.

Jan 3 -

We host the Nuggets who are 13-21 and horrible with only Carmelo as their real asset. We win 105-90.

Carmelo with 32. Holiday with 20 points and 7 assists.

Turner with 16 points, 10 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Fuller with 14 points in 14 minutes.

Villanueva with 11 points and 8 boards.

Jefferson with 8 points, 8 boards, and a block.

Our next game is hosting the Hornets on the 5th. They are 10-23 despite a talented roster. We are now 23-10.

Jan 4th -

Stan Van Gundy has been fired in Boston. They have hired Brandon Marsh. The Celtics have lost 10 straight.

I decide to look in on Iggy - he is doing very well. Near his career high with 18.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 6.9 apg. He also is at a career high 2.4 spg. Despite that, the Spurs are 10-23 and almost dead last in the Western Conference. Could I trade for him? Should I?
