Maybe they should call it the Big 10, that would be confusing.

I don't think it really matters what they'd call it, but they'd have to go in an entirely new direction here and I can see not wanting do that. What would they call it instead - The Big Midwest? The Corn Conference? The Texas Longhorns and Friends Conference? I can see just sticking with Big 12, we all know what conference that is. And they might very well have two more teams in the next few years. Or they might not exist. But either way, I can see why you just want to keep your name.
