Par Out Golf is a fun pick up and play. It's a memory/dexterity game on a golf theme (don't think Tiger Woods here). Lite version avail for free to try. Hot seat multiplayer and game center. Good with kids.
First Touch is a fun soccer game. Haven't played FIFA on iPhone, so not sure how it compares.
