I am fascinated by the regular old, plain pretzels. Are they the lowest common denominator of the snack world? Everybody will eat one, but are they anybody's favorite snack? Literally every time I have more than 3 dudes over at my house I end up with a leftover bag of plain pretzels the size of a Prius. I've never bought a bag of pretzels in my life, yet I've somehow owned hundreds of bags of pretzels, and eaten a million of them. Has anybody ever bought a bag of pretzels to eat just by themselves, or are they strictly meant to be taken to group functions and abandoned?

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not talking about those big hot pretzels, which are awesome, and obviously shouldn't be shared with anybody.
