All Star Break 2011
We continued to roll through the first half of February, winning five games out of seven. This propelled us to 30-22 overall, good for 6th in the East. It's nice to be able to say that we're actually beating some quality competition now...Boston (by 27)...L.A. Lakers (by 7).

NBA Slam Dunk Contest: Toronto's Julian Wright won the opening round and then took the title over Charlotte's Derrick Brown. We didn't have anyone in the competition.

NBA Long Distance Shootout: Our very own Raymond Felton competed but placed eighth out of eight in the first round. Chicago's Kyle Korver emerged victorious.

NBA Rookie/Sophomore Game: The Rookies edged out the Sophomores 126-124 thanks to their dominance of the paint (54 points in the paint compared to 18; a 50-to-36 rebounding edge). We didn't have anyone in the game.

NBA All Star Game: A travesty! No Knicks in the game...no Stoudemire! There was plenty of love for Miami though as the Heat accounted for three-fifths of the East's starting lineup. They joined Orlando's Dwight Howard and Chicago's Derrick Rose. It wasn't even close as the East destroyed the West 138-116. Lebron James led all scorers with 32.
