Pretty happy with how things worked out today. My key goals were to bring back Wie and Velez, and I did, at a combined price that was similar to what they had asked for in extensions. They will form the centerpiece of my teams for a while, so I hope I don't regret having two eight digit contracts on the Sluggers at once.

I also signed a C, SS and CF, and as mentioned, revamped the pen. I am looking forward to a strong season from the Sluggers, even with the loss of Ruiz and Morgan (among others).
