After the game, the Grizzlies offer JR Smith who is averaging 17.7 ppg and Dexter Gooding their C who is 7'0 250 and rated 65 overall for Tiggs. I turn them down.


Feb 16th -

We play the next night at Dallas. They are 24-32 with a rating of 77...

Before the game, The Nuggets offer their 1st round pick and Dirk Nowitzki (who is 36 and rated 77 overall and averaging 20.4 ppg) for Tiggs and Fuller. I consider it briefly before turning them down.

The Magic Offer Wayne Ellington and Omer Asik for Speights which I also turn down.


We beat Dallas 93-89 as Ball leads us with 22 points and 6 assists! He shot 8 of 10 including 2 of 2 from the arc.

Speights with 21 points and 12 boards. Jefferson with 11 and 9.

Mayo with 4 of 15 shooting, 10 points, 4 boards, and 3 assists.

Tiggs with 7 points and 2 assists.

Thabeet with 3 blocks in 14 minutes.



We are now past the trade deadline, but we have 2 trades before the deadline passes:

The Nets trade Yi Jianlian and Johnny York to the Hawks for Josh Smith who was unhappy in Atlanta.

The Bobcats trade an unhappy Ramon Sessions and Ferdinand Delgado to the Pacers for Archie Glover and Channing Frye.


Now for the All-Star game...

First the Rookie Game:

Mayo lead the Rookies with 19 points and 10 boards but the Sophomores win 97-72.

Ben Pope of the Trailblazers led all scorers with 29 points and 8 assists.


Now for the All-Star Game....

Tyreke Evans win the All-Star MVP with 17 points and 3 assists as the West beats the East 107-103.

Carmelo chipped in 14, Ellis 13, Jefferson 11. Durant only scored 9 in 22 minutes.

Derrick Rose led the East and all scorers with 17 points and 4 assists.

LeBron with 15 points and 5 assists.


Feb 23rd -

We come out of the All-Star break with a game hosting the Wizards who are 22-32 and looking like they are giving us a lottery pick...

They upset us 96-94 behind 25 points from Owen Blake and 24 from from 2nd year PG Marshall Samuel who is blossoming into a star.

Speights led us with 18. Villanueva and Tiggs with 14. Kelley and Ball with 11. Ball also had 10 assists.

Mayo shot 2 of 10 and finished with 8 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.


Our next game is hosting the Pacers on the 25th. They are 32-27 with a roster rating of 81.

We are now 38-19.

Great news! Turner has been cleared to play in the game against the Pacers!
