Not sure that I follow.
WVU both generates more revenue and is more profitable than Missouri in both football and basketball (and that is with the Big East's horrendous television deal that they signed after the 2003 raid):

And, as established in my post above, appear to be in a slightly favorable situation in athletic departments.
I concede academics and markets, but I think you are either way overselling Missouri or selling WVU short.
