In all seriousness, UW and UCLA are damn close in terms of football success. I think Washington has a slight edge overall, but of course I'm not unbiased in this matter.
And I'm also serious in thinking that as the new TV money starts rolling in, UCLA is going to have no excuse for not having a top coach and putting out consistent top-20 teams. The talent is obviously there to be recruited, and the money will be there to be competitive with coaching salaries - the heat will be on Guerrero to get this next hire right.
I like Sark in general and I think the UW is moving in the right direction, but if UCLA were to get a top-notch coach they'd be hard to top. And now is the time for the Bruins to strike with USC enduring scholarship sanctions.
