Liverpool(7-3-6, 9th) @ Ipswich(6-3-7, 10th)

We're still in 10th and today we're playing a tough Liverpool team that is exactly 3 points ahead of us. Liverpool haven't made the Champions League in 6 years and last season had their worst finish since relegating out of the top division in 1954 with a 14th place finish. Today they're 4:5 favorites at Portman Road. We're 3:1 to win. We're only 4-1-3 at home so far, not really all that spectacular.

Burton starts at ML, that'll be fun, he hates my guts. Bendtner at ST and Mariga in for Clifford today. We set up to counter attack today and hope that with our defense gelling a bit that will be a more viable option than it was early in the year.

9': not a viable option. They attack down the left, a simple pass into the area for midfielder Chapman sees him left wide, wide open for a trivial finish. 0-1

18': they should have gone up 2-0, a through ball to ST Bailey, he's got a clear cut chance, though a defender is stuck on him fairly well.. shot is by Capitani, but off the left post and we clear.

24': we have a throwin in their end, taken to Constantino, he passes to Mariga who shoots from 20 yards out... solid effort but a little high.

27': yellow for O'Brien

HALF: A couple more Liverpool shots to end the half but we go into the locker room down a goal and lucky to only be down 1. They have 10 shots, 3 on target, we have 5 shots, 2 on target. We have a bit of a possession edge, 56/44, passing and tackling is even, they're dominant in the air. Hughes is in for Burton and Bryan in for Bendtner at the half.

58': Jack Hughes is hurt, he can stay in...

65': They build up down the right side, Hughes and Kirkland make a couple tackles to slow them down but we can't get it fully cleared, there's a cross into the area, controlled by one of their strikers... O'Brien and Mattle are both on top of the guy but O'Brien misses a tackle, they get a shot and a goal out of it. O'Brien is playing awful today. 0-2

69': We win a ball as they try to clear out in defense and get a bit of an advantage, Donnelly passes ahead to Neil Gordon, Gordon shoots from a tough angle out right on a half volley... and its a beauty of a strike, by the keeper and in! 1-2

72': Donnelly is hurt, fairly badly.

76': We counter down the right after winning the ball in defense.. Gordon into the area for Constantino, he's brought down... its a penalty!! Constantino takes it, and finishes well. Tie game! 2-2

85': Mattila in for the injured Donnelly.

We make a great comeback after falling behind by 2 goals today!
