[Chief Rum]

I received an item from someone Night One, and he mentioned it in thread. It confirmed what we had both surmised in commenting on our items on Day One.

I have since tried to pass either item off, in the hopes it could be used for protection, but each time my chosen target was the wolf's choice for a kill. So my item was never passed (items are passed last in night action order).

I don't know it does much for way of trust, though. All players, wolf and villager, started with items.
