December Update

-- We play on the 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 21st, 27th, and 31st. Matches on the 3rd and 17th will finish up Euro Cup Group play. In league play we play 4 on the road, 2 at home. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man city this month, that's 3 of the top 4.

-- The board is very pleased with my leadership, with our increase in stature being the highlight. Our 0:0 draw with Stoke is the biggest negative to be found.

-- We lost $5.86M last month. We've lost $20.8M on the year now so far.

FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

We're the defending champs in the FA Cup this year and we're rewarded by playing our first match at home... against Man Utd. Blech.

M Haifa (2-1-1, 2nd) @ Ipswich (3-1-0, 1st)

A draw would clinch advancement for us. A win would clinch the group 1st place for us. We could lose and potentially clinch advancement depending on the result of the other match. We're 1:2 favorites at home and would like to just win so we can relax in our last match.

All four midfield spots change from last match, Heywood starts for the first time this year, 6 weeks of injuries since July is the reason for that though. We'll attack today.

4': Darcy a great run down the center, a pass to Di Giuseppe, he's charging towards the area, tackled from behind by a defender... and that's a straight red, well deserved imo!! 86 minutes with a man up here. Free kick just a foot outside the area, but sent into the wall by Gordon.

7': Corner for us, Gordon sends it far post, Aldrovandi heads it into the side netting.

17': Darcy to Di Giuseppe, he's 25 yards out, makes a great move to get by his defender, into the area, clear cut chance and easy goal! 1-0

27': Di Giuseppe a long run down the left, a great cross, Darcy a header from 6 yards out.. into the crossbar, he had to score there.

27': Heywood a yellow.

30': They try to attack, a poor cross comes in, Kirkland heads it away, sent to the midfield, Darcy wins it, passes ahead to di Giuseppe who is all alone, the offside trap screwed up by a defender way way too far back out left. Di Giuseppe into the area and an easy goal.

47': They try to clear a ball away after a throwin deep in their end. Connolly recovers it, crosses into the area, Darcy wins another header and this one he drills into the net! 3-0
