May's #1 Rookie Named by CL

Marcos Nájera earned top rookie honors in the Continental League with a solid performance last month.
In May the
Plantana first baseman posted a .266 average while racking up 25 hits, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs.
Thus far this season in 53 games Nájera is batting .278 with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 55 hits in 198 at-bats.
Chin Voted RL's #1 Rookie

Hyun-seung Chin's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young
Portland first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month.
In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award.
During the month he hit .284 with 2 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs.
Chin also scored 12 times and drove in 25 runs.
Chin is presently hitting at a .253 pace with 12 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 23 times.
