Have you guys had much success with mages at the beginning? I assume they get a lot better but at the beginning the lack of magicka and weakness of the novice spells aren't doing great for me - I have to use a melee weapon in one hand and a spell in the other. But at least raising zombies is cool.

Eh. never mind - realized I was still playing on expert difficulty from my other character!
