One punch can define a pretty good chunk of a guy's prime, good or bad. Well for champions it is different because the UFC has to obviously put together Main Event fights. JDS is probably going to fight again in March/April assuming the winner of Overeem/Brock doesn't get hurt. That isn't too bad.
It just depends on the fighter otherwise. Cowboy Cerrone has his 5th fight of 2010 vs Nate Diaz on the Brock/Overeem card. He wants fights so he gets them. It all just depends.
