St Louis's López Collects May Batting Honor
Tuesday, June 1st, 2077: The vote is in and
Eduardo López, the 26-year-old left fielder for
St Louis, is the winner. Today he was honored with the Continental League Batter of the Month award.
In May,
López wowed voters with a .358 average while posting up 6 home runs, 26 RBIs, 20 runs scored and a .470 on-base percentage.
Presently
López is batting .374 with 11 home runs and 47 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 43 times.
