She broke third from the gate and pretty much stayed there the entire race, closing to within a head of the 2nd place horse at the finish line. She has placed in all three races thus far and the 3rd place finish here earns the stables $1069.00. Bailey rode her in the pack and said that suited her, but he was not sure about the distance. Five Furlongs is as short as it gets, so I just need to continue to train stamina and in the off-season will work on starts. | | | | | | | |
