LB Joel Jefferson, Middle Tenn St. - Backup all season with 1 start. Just 11 tackles.
LB Terrance Sherman, Central Mich - Saw little action as a backup.
CB Bernie Fisk, Penn State - Started all 14 games. Had 6 interceptions, returned 2 for touchdowns. Returned 10 punts for a 4.4 average. Returned 10 kicks for a 22.7 average.
S Jesse Rudzinski, Michigan State - Started 8 of the 11 games he played in. Had 1 interception.
