It wasn't. She admitted as much. She said she "needs it," that she's struggling, etc.
What cracked me up was that she bought a house and a car with the winnings, and then when defending the continued use of the food subsidies, defended it with "well, I have two houses." The implication being that those mortgage payments are a bitch. Honey, I don't think you get to use the toys you bought yourself with your lottery winnings for why the public should continue to help pay for your sustenance. I'm just sayin'.
