I actually wouldn´t want to go without that feature, it doesn´t add just realism but also more of a challenge. Every now and then i get too greedy and go after blue chip recruits and it bites me in the ass. In general i find it relatively easy to avoid theese players and get guys where there´s reason to believe that they´ll stay 4 years and add in a big time recruit every now and then.
For example my current best player was a 4 star prospect as a 6´4 SG and averages 16/5/5 and very likely will be a all american, yet i doubt he´ll even get drafted as a senior according to the games logic.

Sometimes i also just totally disregard that because i want a player badly Currently i´m going to loose 5 seniors who are all in my 10 man rotation and am pretty sure that i´ll loose 3 other guys to the draft. This will leave me with 2 rotation players and 2 other "might play in emergency situations" players returning.
