Watched the premiere last night.

Wasn't BLOWN AWAY by this episode or anything. In my mind there weren't really any great like..."hook" moments in the episdoe that would hook a new viewer (although why a new viewer would start at S2E1 I don't know) like there were in many of the S1 episodes. Very nice character moments though, as others have noted, and a lot of introducing of Davos/Stannis/Mel, which needed to be done.

That being said - baby-killing Janos Slynt was nasty. Joffrey was appropriately douchey.

DRAGONS LOOKED FRIGGING AWESOME!! WOLVES LOOKED AWESOME!!!

New CGI-team for those is top-notch.

Can't wait for the season to heat up.
