So far my experiments with board games in school has been successful. Based on this experience and lots of reading about what's gone on at other schools, I've decided to start a library board game collection with between $500 and $1000 in a special fund that I need to spend in the next 8 days.

I need to figure out some details but we'll be using it for 6-12 grade students with a special emphasis on 6-8. Games that could be used in the classroom would be a LARGE plus, but not a requirement.

So if you were starting a board game collection from scratch for that age group what would you buy?
