I've never heard Bill Self utter those words Panerd. In fact, he's even acknowledged that the Missouri series could potentially get renewed at some point based on the leadership at Kansas.
"The next coach may play [Missouri]," Self said. "The next president, the next A.D. may force me to play."
There is a big difference between scheduling Colorado for a two game set and Missouri for an on-going series. Do I think Kansas and Missouri will eventually play a one or two game set? I do. I don't think you'll ever see an annual series though until leadership changes. Personally, I'm ok with that. Now that both schools are in different conferences the Border War is meaningless.
