If you want a similar themed game to Monopoly, you might want to look at Acquire. Some games come with a 2-player variant as it normally plays 3-6. If you are looking for a 2-player trading game, Jaipur would also work. A bit up in price, but Finca might work as well since it has fruit meeples.
