A Terrance Malik film. If you aren't ready for that, I think your reaction is pretty much spot on. It was exactly what I thought when I saw "Thin Red Line."
Let me guess, lots of shots of sunlight through trees/leaves? Other random shots of nature? Slow moving. No real narrative. More meditative?
While I appreciate the beauty of his films, I don't particularly enjoy them.
