The loss to East on the last day of GWAL conference play cost Southeast the title outright. However, due to holding the tiebreaker against North (Southeast beat North both games this season), the Buffaloes will get the #1seed in the GWAL tournament. Unfortunately they have to share the GWAL title with the Redskins.
Here are the play-in and quarterfinal pairings for the GWAL tournament:
In the play-in game:
(9) Heights will take on (8) Detroit
In the quarterfinals:
the Heights/Detroit winner will take on (1) Southeast.
(5) Wichita East will take on (4) Valparaiso
(6) Kapaun will take on (3) Northwest
(7) Bishop Carroll will take on (2) North.
