Sorry, meant to quote the speech but I was rushing to get something done and just posted quickly.

It is silly, but it wouldn't be a talking point if Romney doesn't fumble badly on the question. I don't remember anyone mentioning that Romney didn't bring up the troops in his speech (not that I was really paying attention to it), but when you make a gaffe that big on being asked, then people talk about it.
