Shaping up to be a rough year for Xavier. After losing last year's starting SG Mark Lyons to transfer to Arizona, then losing the best remaining returning player in Dezmine Wells to an as-yet-unknown "sexual issue" (he transferred to Maryland), word comes today that 2 incoming freshmen may not have passed their SATs and may be ineligible for the coming season, which would leave X with 8 scholarship players, and only 3 guards for this season.
Not completely substantiated yet on the 2 freshmen thing, but it is lighting up the X message boards right now.
