BOSTON - The Miami Sharks may have gotten the win but they won't be winning many fans with their offensive play. Truly, Zach Schmeh found it offensive.

"If we can't finish our drives and score some touchdowns we won't be in a position to win jack in the post season," the Miami coach said on one of his typical rants. "Wilkerson needs to tighten up and haul the ball downfield. We can't win games with 140 bloody yards of passing offense. We're just lucky that Kelley can still kick. Without him we'd be up the proverbial creek without a paddle."

Only one touchdown was scored in the game - by Boston. Fortunately for the Sharks the score came with just 27 seconds left on the clock with Miami already ahead 18-9. The resulting onside kick failed and Miami escaped with another win.

"We have to pull in our buckles if we want to beat the likes of Houston and Nashville," admitted linebacker Scottie Booker. "If there's a worse 7-2 team in the league I'd like to know who they are."
