Led by 3B Gino Cimoli, 1B Mole Fenton & LF George Shuba and backed on the mound by ace Johnny Podres, the Dodgers brought a title to Brooklyn in it's 3rd to last season in town.
The Tigers were led by slugger Chuck Hinton who hit 45 homers and 1B Dave Roberts who hit .329 on the season.
