LA's offense has been really inconsistent of late. They SHOW UP and then they kind of roll over and die and then O HAI I CAN HAZ RUNZ and then...
That's the thing. Yeah, two out of the three games, the offense has been there. But for most of September it was pretty anemic. You can't count on it being there tonight, even with Kershaw on the mound. I'm not saying I'm hugely a fan of running him out there on short rest for the first time after a 124 pitch outing, but you can use Nolasco as the long man, and you've got Greinke in the hole for Game 5, if necessary.
There's at least a case to be made. I don't know that I agree with it, but there's a case to be made.
