So long as you make sure they're in a conference and do it then, you shouldn't have any problems in theory.

Well, that's what I've done. Created them in the conference movement portion and slid them into the America East Conference. Maybe they are not the problem. I did shuffle around a lot to mimic this season's conference alignments, so I guess it could be anything, though I figure if there was any issue with the conference/team setups it would have alerted me and not let me out of the "Edit Current League" screens. Dunno.
