Again I don't really know what I'm talking about, but it sure seems to me like the problem lies with my adding a team. I'm noticing that I can reliably crash the game even during the conf movement phase just by clicking on the newly added team's empty "Career Stats" page. FYI. I wonder if there's a way around this via any sort of editing...
