Iowa wins the group, but their point differential isn't as good as some of the other 9-1 group winners. They should still be in line for a top 25 seed though. UIC comes through and gets second place. Not a great point differential, but they'll just be happy to move on. TX Southern gets third place, and thanks to their 29 point victory over UTSA in week 10, that is good enough for them to edge Virginia by 8 points in the wildcard hunt. So Virginia gets eliminated just 1 group after they get in the hunt. Toledo, who just played their group a couple of groups ago, is probably the quickest team to clinch a wildcard berth after finishing group play. They are happy to be in the round of 128.
