I didn't dig 12 Years a Slave all that much. I mean it was good for what it's supposed to be, but it's not "Best Picture". Felt more like something you'd see PBS put together (although more graphic). The storyline sucked and it played out more like torture porn mixed with a historical message than an actual movie.
Also the best movie I saw all year was Lone Survivor. Haven't seen all the best picture nominees, but it was better than the few I had seen.
