I believe Alan posted the link to athlinks.com in FrogMan's dynasty thread in order to make me feel bad about myself. Just about every 0-2 result has someone burying me by 4+ minutes on 5k runs.
With that out of the way, is there a better way to sort runners? Ideally, I could look for people within 2 miles or 5 miles of home rather than 25 miles. Or something that finds "top 50 comparable runners" based on 2+ races where our results were close rather than something where I'm seeing people annihilate me 2x and know that I'm not catching them for years, barring something involving a loss of limbs on their part.
