A lot of Mexican-Americans that grew up with both cultures...speak mostly English but grew up rooting for El Tri. Maybe they hope some of those fans switch from Univision. I would assume that anyway.
Also, neither are Mexican. One is Salvadoran, and the other is Venezuelan.
