How on earth the supporters could be "somewhat concerned" after this match is beyond me. Did they not see who that was on the pitch with us? Man City's reserves included players with full Northern Ireland and Romania caps to their credit and Germany and England youth internationals. In other words, it was a hell of a side.
They scored the winner in stoppage time, so for over 90 minutes, we played them to a draw. I'll take that anytime.
Scott Courts missed the match with a hamstring pull, which will keep him out for about three more weeks. Mark Black has a similar injury, but a little bit worse; he might be sidelined for about a month.
Steven Noble will be Strathspey Thistle's captain this season, with Chris Christie serving as vice captain.
