So we're pretty big dogs here, I'm going to go with a 4-1-4-1 for it. Defensive mindset. I could field a stronger team but we play again in 3 days, trying to find a little balance.

8': Gyan makes 3 saves in about a minute.

22': Rose is hurt and must leave the match. Shakespeare is in.

29': Forrest with a yellow.

33': Shakespeare ahead to Navarro, he holds the ball up and draws 2 defenders, Perkins makes a run, Navarro finds him and he scores from 15 yards out!! 1-0

40': We earn a corner but can't do anything with it.

HALF: They outshoot us 8-6 but only put 1 on target, they had a couple very threatening flurries but we seemed to handle it quite well.

49': Yellow for their midfielder Morales.

51': They get a break on a counter after we turn it over in the midfield, there's a long ball from midfield ahead to a striker who has a step on our defense and hits a nice shot. 1-1

55': They earn a corner, we head it behind, second one is cleared by Tapia.

61': Sandoval in for Castro.

82': They take a long shot, on target but Gyan easily scoops it up.

FULL TIME: They are more in control of things now, but anything can happen at this point. We didn't shoot a single time in the second half. Arredondo in at MR for Fisher.

HT ET: The first extra time period goes by without a single highlight.

112': Navarro picks up a minor injury.

113': A poor header by Hernandez gives one of rhtie strikers a clear cut chance from the edge of the area, but he puts it wide.

116': Lots of pressure now, we clear a cross after some buildup, but they get forward again, a shot is taken from 20 yards, wide.

FULL TIME.

We go to penalties. So we know penalties are a little ridiculous in this version so lets just see what happens.

Both teams make their first 5 penalties.

We get to 7-7 when they take one right at Gyan and he stops it. Coggins steps up with a chance to win and scores!!!!
