I guess, and this is only watching it once on a 60" screen, that the shot selection was nothing so extraordinary. That it was certainly competent however I felt like Bruhl completely shredded Helmsworth acting wise and that left me basically only caring about his character. So what I think they were trying to convey was a 1 v 1 story but it just didn't really deliver. I'd chalk it up as something like What's Love Got To Do With it where you have outstanding performance(s) but the movie isn't that great.

I'd have expected a movie of this type to get all the shots that Howard got.
